Yating is an associate in our dispute resolution practice.

Yating focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, representing domestic and international clients in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration tribunals. She has handled a wide variety of cases including contract disputes, securities, derivative, and fraud cases, antitrust class actions, and bankruptcy litigation. Yating has experience at all stages of the dispute resolution process.

Prior to joining the firm, Yating was an associate at a New York City-based litigation boutique, where she represented clients in a broad range of high-stakes disputes. She also served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Margaret A. Chan in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Commercial Division, where she drafted decisions and conducted discovery conferences in complex commercial cases.

Background

Yating received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she served on the editorial board of the Fordham Environmental Law Review and was a member of the Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic. Yating received her L.L.B. from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She also studied at Waseda Law School in Japan as an exchange student.

Yating is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
