Ziyanda Ntshona
Ziyanda is a M&A/private equity lawyer with 20 years of experience practicing in all aspects of M&A including reorganisations, private equity, commercial work, corporate governance and general corporate transactions in South Africa and the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Her experience includes mining, health, financial services, pharma, telecommunications, real estate, and private equity. This includes cross-border transactions and transactions that involve leveraged buyouts and where issues of Black Economic Empowerment are pertinent.
Ziyanda's technical ability and expertise have been recognised by top legal directories including Legal 500, Best Lawyers and Chambers Global in which she is noted for being "highly experienced and knowledgeable". In 2023, she was awarded Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year by Chambers Africa.

Ziyanda holds a LLB (Bachelor of Laws Degree), a LLM (Commercial Law) from the University of Witwatersrand and an MBA from the African Leadership University in Rwanda.

- Acino Pharma AG and its South African subsidiary, Acino Pharma Priority Ltd, on the acquisition of six pharmaceuticals brands from the South African global pharmaceuticals company, Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd and its subsidiaries for EUR 105 million (ZAR 1.8 billion)
