Recording: Originally broadcast 8 November 2018
In this first of our new series of webinars on class actions in England and Wales, we looked at how class actions are brought in the English courts, the types of claim that tend to be brought, and the outlook for the future. We also considered issues relating to costs and funding, which are critical to the question of whether claims can get off the ground.
Future editions will consider particular areas in which class actions may be brought, including data and privacy claims, shareholder actions and competition claims.
