Herbert Smith Freehills is pleased to announce the contribution of two chapters to the second edition of Arbitration of M&A Transactions: A Practical Guide.
Hong Kong-based Partner May Tai, Professional Support Consultant Briana Young, Shanghai-based Partner Helen Tang, and London Associate Peter Chen, have co-authored the chapter on Hong Kong and China, whilst Malaysia-based Partner Peter Godwin and Tokyo Senior Associate John Ribeiro have co-authored the chapter on Japan.
Arbitration of M&A Transactions identifies the types of legal issues likely to arise in relation to M&A transactions and provides practical insights into the resulting arbitrations. This second edition provides guidance on issues such as warranty claims and shareholder disputes, as well questions of arbitrability, governing law, and enforcement, and now includes chapters on third party funding and additional jurisdictions.
