As 2024 wraps up, we take a stroll down memory lane to celebrate some of our proudest moments. Staying healthy and happy is key to our success at work, and we’ve had a blast keeping active with a fantastic mix of activities all year long. From friendly sports competitions to team challenges, we’ve kept our spirits high and our bodies moving.
Ping pong tournament: Members of the team kicked the year off taking part in a charity Ping Pong tournament raising money for St. George’s Hospital in South West London and the Izzy Wilson Smile Fund. Our amazing team finished in second place in the premier league.
Surrey Centurion: Our annual cycling and running event is a firm favourite among clients – and a great chance for us to connect with our contacts in a relaxed environment. Over 120 participants attended the event, which took place in Loseley Park in Guildford. This included contacts from Prime clients BlackRock, BP and GIC; Principal clients British Land, Lloyds Banking Group and Sky; and Sector Priority Clients British American Tobacco and Royal Mail, to name just a few. We even invited Chrissie Wellington, former British professional triathlete and four-time Ironman Triathlon World Champion to give the keynote speech.
Triathlon: Nine members of the Real Estate team took part in the annual JLL Triathlon to raise funds for GiveOut, an international LGBTQI community foundation support LGBTQI activism worldwide. Both in teams and individually they conquered the 750m swim, 21.1km bike ride and finished with the 5k run.
abrdn 5k: Joining our contacts and clients at abrdn, team members completed a 5k run hosted by abrdn in Edinburgh. Over £18,500 was raised for the two chosen charities, The British Heart Foundation and LandAid.
Here’s to another year of fun, fitness, and fabulous achievements!
