Alex is a Senior Associate in our energy transition and infrastructure finance team, who is based in our London office.
Alex is a senior associate with experience of a range of financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has acted for a broad base of clients including borrowers, lenders and sponsors on transactions in both developed and emerging markets, including acquisition finance, commodity and trade finance and traditional project finance.

- the lenders on the financing of the NeuConnect interconnector project, which will be the first interconnector between the UK and Germany and is one of the first interconnectors in Europe to be project-financed (European Power Deal of the Year: Transmission – IJGlobal Awards 2022; European Power Deal of the Year – PFI Awards 2022)
- Adriatic Metals plc in connection with the financing for the development of its Vareš base metals project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The financing involved an equity fundraise, senior secured debt facility and secured copper stream
- the lenders on a reserve-based financing for BW Energy relating to its upstream assets in Gabon
- Black Sea Oil and Gas on the financing of the development of gas fields offshore Romania
- BNP Paribas and the other lenders on a US$1.225 billion reserve-based loan to Ithaca Energy (UK) Limited to refinance its existing reserve-based loan
- Transmission Capital Partners on the financing and acquisition of transmission links to offshore wind farms in the UK
