魏律师曾在本所伦敦及新加坡办公室的融资部工作，在2008年加入本所的香港办公室。他曾借调至位于伦敦的一家一流的欧洲房地产贷款机构以及位于莫斯科的一家俄罗斯银行。

- 就提供予Essar集团公司的 1.5亿美元担保银团定期贷款融资，向作为安排行的Axis Bank提供法律服务
- 就中国工商银行（亚洲）、PT中国工商银行（印度尼西亚）及中国工商银行向电讯公司PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk提供融资事宜提供法律服务。是次融资由一项5千万人民币（641万美元）由中国出口信用保险公司担保的定期贷款, 以及一份涉及20亿人民币（2.56亿美元）融资的合作备忘录组成
- 就提供一项1.25亿美元的银团定期贷款予 印度工业发展银行（IDBI Bank）的事宜，向作为受托牵头安排行及贷款人的法国巴黎银行（BNP Paribas）、渣打银行（Standard Chartered ）、东京三菱银行（Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi）、苏格兰皇家银行（Royal Bank of Scotland）和大华银行（United Overseas Bank）提供法律服务
