Annie Zhang
Annie is a commercial and transactional lawyer and advises the firm’s clients on a variety of cyber security, data governance and privacy, strategic technology acquisitions, IT transformation projects, business process outsourcing and procurement contracting best practice.
She also has experience in emerging technology, digital platforms, intellectual property and other technology-related issues.
Prior to joining HSF, Annie worked for a global multi-disciplinary professional services firm and was heavily involved in leading the upskilling of new technologies within the firm.
Annie is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Technology and Innovation Section, and regularly contributes to the LIV submissions to governmental consultation papers. She also is a Board member for the Monash Law Clinics, a not-for-profit community legal centre that is part of the Faculty of Law at Monash University.
Background
Annie holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, and a Masters of Commercial Law (with Distinction) from the University of Melbourne. She speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Shanghainese fluently.
