Aqeel is an associate in the Financial Sponsors team with a particular focus on private equity transactions.
Aqeel advises financial sponsors, private equity houses and their portfolio companies on a wide range of matters which include leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and disposals, growth equity transactions, shareholder and management incentive arrangements, joint ventures, restructurings and refinancings.
Background
Aqeel has a Bachelor of Arts (honours) from the University of Warwick. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School (Birmingham), and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (London).
He is qualified in England and Wales.
During his training contract, Aqeel spent six months on secondment in the Dubai office.
