Charlotte is a corporate lawyer specialising in ESG matters.
Charlotte is a Senior Associate in the firm’s ESG practice. She specialises in climate and sustainability risk governance with a particular focus on directors’ duties and reporting obligations. Charlotte assists clients to understand and mitigate their exposure to climate and sustainability-related risks, including nature and biodiversity by taking a forward-looking approach to economic transition risk and emerging liability risk issues for clients. She has significant experience advising boards and companies in respect of ESG matters through a legal and financial risk lens, assisting with capacity building and providing subject matter expertise to a range of ASX100 and unlisted clients. Building on her previous experience as a litigator, Charlotte also provides advice in relation to greenwashing.
Charlotte has co-authored several publications and directors’ training materials for the Australian Institute of Company Directors on the topic of climate risk governance, as well as the ESG Corporate chapter in LexisNexis.
