Christian H. Hinzmann is a counsel in our finance practice in Frankfurt.
Christian advises national and international banks, debt funds, private equity investors and companies on complex national and international financing transactions. He has significant experience in the areas of acquisition, corporate and real estate finance and advises in reorganization/restructuring transactions.
Christian is recommended as "notable practitioner" for Banking & Finance and Restructuring & Insolvency by IFLR1000.
Background
Christian graduated from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main and holds a Master of Laws (Corporate and Insolvency Law) from Nottingham Trent University for which he was awarded for with the Paragon Law Prize for the Best LLM Student Overall. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills in 2024, he was an counsel at another leading international law firm in Germany. Christian is fluent in German and English.
