James is a recognised senior tax expert with 32 years of experience in the Australian tax advisory profession. He has well-established and respected professional relationships within industry and government. James has particular expertise in advising on large scale M&A transactions, with emphasis on advisory engagements in the property, funds management, banking and finance and infrastructure sectors, together with advice to private equity investors.
Background
James was admitted to practice as a solicitor in NSW in July 1991 and holds an unrestricted practising certificate. He holds Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Sydney.
He has presented for the Tax Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has lectured in the University of Sydney Masters Degree Programme
