Julie is a professional support lawyer in Corporate, with over 25 years' experience.
Julie specialises in giving advice to colleagues in the corporate team, and across the firm, on technical and practical issues relating to corporate law and practice, focussing particularly on company law, private acquisitions and general contract law. As part of the professional support team, she ensures that both our lawyers and our clients are aware of the impact of legal developments by developing and maintaining a wide variety of know how resources. A significant part of her role involves training and she designs and delivers a range of technical and skills courses both internally and externally. Over recent years she has written articles for publications such as PLC magazine.
Since 2019 Julie has been part of the firm's digital law group, focussing on the education and know how aspects of business and digital transformation. She has also delivered various tech and automation projects within the corporate division.
Background
Julie joined the firm as a newly qualified lawyer in 1998 and worked as a transactional lawyer in the energy and projects group before moving to the professional support team. Prior to becoming a lawyer she worked in the travel and tourism industry.
