Lesetja's practice focuses on all aspects of competition and antitrust regulation, including merger control, cartels and other prohibited behavioural conduct. Lesetja's also advises clients in other regulatory fields including consumer protection, gaming, postal and logistics regulation, advertising and marketing, as well as civil litigation. Lesetja also has knowledge and experience providing advice to clients on merger control in various other southern African jurisdictions.
Background
Lesetja is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Lesetja has previously worked for other international law firms in Johannesburg and London. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Johannesburg, and a Master's degree in Commercial Law obtained from the same institution, which he obtained as the best Banking Law student. Lesetja also holds a competition law certificate from the University of Witwatersrand.
