Megan is a corporate associate, specialising in funds and asset management.
Megan has experience on fund structuring and formation across a broad product spectrum covering: authorised funds (UCITS, NURS, QISs and LTAFs), private funds and publicly listed funds (UK investment trusts and offshore investment companies).
Megan also advises asset managers on corporate transactions and the implementation of various regulatory developments (including the UK sustainability disclosure requirements). Megan has acted for asset managers across a wide range of asset classes and jurisdictions.
Megan has spent time on secondment to BlackRock (2022) providing legal support to BlackRock's business on a range of asset management related regulations, including their ESG implementation project.
Background
Megan studied Geography at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2016, and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practical Course (LPC) at BPP University in London. Megan joined the firm in 2018 and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2020.
