Miguel Ángel is an Of Counsel in the regulated sectors, emerging technologies and data protection practices in the Madrid office.
He advises major corporations, global investment banks, equity sponsors and public entities on regulated sectors (energy, infrastructure, TMT, healthcare, transport, and digital services), public and regulatory law across its various specialisations, foreign direct investment (FDI), data protection and privacy, emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence), and digital law, as well as arbitration and litigation related to these areas.
Background
He holds a degree in Law by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and has completed an advanced program in Public and Private International Law at Oriel College, as well as in regulated sectors at Instituto de Empresa (IE). Additionally, he has undertaken an advanced program in corporate law at Centro de Estudios Financieros. He speaks Spanish and English. He is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association).
Miguel has combined his legal profession with his role as a lecturer throughout his career, teaching in various specialized programs and master's degrees, including the Master's in Access to the Legal Profession at Rey Juan Carlos University, Autónoma University of Madrid, and Villanueva University Centre.
