Oliver is a senior associate in the firm's banking and finance division focussing on corporate debt and acquisition finance.
Oliver advises on a range of international debt financings. His experience includes public and private acquisition financings (corporate backed and leveraged) and general corporate debt financing, acting for lenders, borrowers and sponsors.
Oliver is a core member of the London Corporate Debt Team and a co-contributor to the firm's flagship annual Corporate Debt Report. He regularly speaks on issues affecting large corporate treasurers and other senior financial professionals.
He was a key member of Herbert Smith Freehills' "Finance team of the Year" at the Lawyer Awards 2022 for his work advising the English Football League on financing to help Championship clubs meet PAYE liabilities during the coronavirus pandemic.
