Pauline Tang
Pauline specialises in commercial transactions involving intellectual property in pharmaceutical, life sciences and TMT sectors and is passionate about helping clients actualize their creative business and technological solutions around the world.
Pauline has experience advising on cross-border and high value commercial agreements, especially the intellectual property, information technology and data aspects of corporate transactions. These include licensing arrangements and collaboration agreements encompassing the entire product value chain, from R&D, to manufacturing and supply, and commercialisation, as well as development and procurement of software, hardware and related IT services.
On the regulatory side, Pauline helps companies establish compliant data protection and data sharing programs in the uncertain regulatory landscape in China and beyond. Pauline has also advised multinational life sciences and technology clients in internal and government investigations and litigations regarding anti-corruption and competition law issues.
Before moving to Singapore, Pauline spent a number of years practising in New York and Shanghai. Pauline is a native mandarin speaker.

Pauline graduated with a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts (economics major) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Pauline is a qualified lawyer in New York and a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore.

- a multinational Asia-headquartered pharmaceutical company, on its bid to purchase a suite of products from a UK-headquartered consumer health company, and related agreements on product manufacture, supply, and transitional services
- a China-based pharmaceutical company in its licensing and collaboration agreement with an academic institution based in SEA in relation to a pan-coronavirus vaccine program*
- a China-based biotech company in its licensing and collaboration agreement with international partners in assets treating cardiovascular and ophthalmology-related diseases*
