Ruth Allen is a professional support lawyer in our competition, regulation and trade practice, based in London.
She provides technical advice to clients and colleagues on issues of both substantive competition law and procedure, and is also responsible for know-how resources and training programmes. Ruth previously worked as an associate in the team, and has a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious experience across all aspects of EU and UK competition law in a wide range of sectors.
Ruth has a particular interest in competition litigation and foreign direct investment regulation, and regularly writes briefings on key developments in these areas as part of her editorial role for the firm's "Competition Notes" blog. She is the co-author of a chapter on global trends in the GCR Foreign Direct Investment Regulation Guide and was closely involved in detailed discussions about the scope of the UK's National Security and Investment regime during its passage through Parliament.
