Sousan is a senior associate in our banking litigation practice and UK class actions practice.
Sousan helps clients handle banking and financial services disputes, primarily advising banking clients on a variety of complex international and domestic claims, and shareholder group claims. Sousan has experience advising in connection with investigations, supporting clients through internal investigations and regulatory investigations.
Sousan also understands in-house legal operations, having been seconded to three investment banks. During that time, she has worked on national and cross-border litigation as well as internal and regulatory investigations and developed her understanding of the priorities of and challenges facing her clients.
Background
Sousan read English Literature at Durham University before completing the GDL and the LPC.
Sousan trained at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP before qualifying into the banking litigation and contentious regulatory team in March 2014. Sousan has spent time on secondment to UBS, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.
