With its theme: Dispute Resolution - Global, Sustainable, Ethical?, LIDW22, through a series of events held both physically and virtually, took a critical look at the future of dispute resolution and its place in the post-pandemic world.
The sessions looked not only at how disputes will be resolved in the future, considering matters such as witness recollection and how negotiation strategy is changing, but also about our place in the business world, as ESG and wellbeing are increasingly on the agenda. The nature of international trade and therefore disputes is also changing: sessions at LIDW looked at cyber and crypto issues and the rise of class actions, amongst a range of other topics. The conference also featured keynote addresses from leading figures in the judiciary, UK Government, and more.
The LIDW22 conference programme was also complemented by social events to enable delegates to make new connections and to re-make those that have been lost over the last 2 years, including a drinks reception at a prestigious central London location and an event, featuring the ever popular Law Rocks, organised for young and young-at-heart delegates.
CO-HOSTED SESSIONS
