A Private Members' Bill which would repeal legislative provisions preventing people with mental health conditions from being MPs, jurors or company directors has passed its second reading in the House of Commons. The Bill has Government and Opposition front bench support and now goes to committee before returning to the Commons for a final vote, expected early in 2013.
