Our article, first published in the June 2013 issue of the Newsletter of the International Bar Association Legal Practice Division, examines the European Commission’s draft directive to address gender imbalance on corporate boards, with a particular focus on its potential impact on the UK, France and Spain. It also highlights the approach taken on this issue in Australia.

Authors: Jemima Coleman (UK), Carmen Martinez (Spain), Emma Röhsler (France) and Justine Turnbull (Australia).
