The Women and Equalities Committee has published a report recommending a substantial reduction in the fee for women taking pregnancy-related discrimination cases to an employment tribunal, doubling the limitation period for claims to six months, protection from redundancy until six months after the return to work and assurances that rights and protections will not be eroded, following the vote to leave the European Union. The government will respond to the recommendations "in due course".
