Herbert Smith Freehills is today launching the third edition of its successful textbook, Class Actions in Australia. Written by lawyers from the firm and published by Thomson Reuters, it offers complete coverage of class action law in Australia, from commencement through to choice of forum, opting out, conduct, trial, settlement, costs and funding. The text has now been fully updated to reflect the maturity of class action law in Australia, as well as its continuing evolution.
This new edition is authored by Damian Grave, Ken Adams and Jason Betts, joined by contributing authors Ante Golem, Cameron Hanson, Helen Mould, Guy Narburgh, Gregg Rowan, Christine Tran and Leah Watterson.
Herbert Smith Freehills lawyers are also responsible for the leading text on class actions in the UK, Class Actions in England and Wales, published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2018. The second edition of that text is in preparation and is expected to launch later this year.
