Adam is an Associate in our International Arbitration Group.

Adam specialises in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, with a particular focus on energy, tech and crypto disputes. He has experience under various institutional arbitration rules, including LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, SCC and ICC.

Prior to qualifying into the group, he spent six months in our Hong Kong office's arbitration team where he also worked closely with our Singapore office. Adam has also completed a six-month secondment into the exchange traded products team at Invesco EMEA.

Background

Adam holds an LLB from the London School of Economics and Political Science and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London. He is an Irish national, but has spent the majority of his life in Southeast Asia.

  • a global distributor in ongoing ICC arbitration proceedings in respect of the termination of manufacturing and distribution agreements, with claims of over USD 116 million
  • a leading cryptocurrency institution in an HKIAC arbitration seated in Hong Kong in relation to disputes arising out of trade and loan agreements
