Emmanuel assists clients in transactions involving technology, intellectual property, data privacy and image rights, AI (artificial intelligence) and cybersecurity. He provides innovative and pragmatic solutions to his clients to help protect against legal risks while enhancing the value of all types of intangible assets.

Emmanuel has extensive experience advising on a wide range of transactions, including M&A, carve-outs, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and cooperation, R&D and distribution agreements. He also assists clients in commercialising and monetising their IP and other intangible assets, personal data, as well as in devising and implementing GDPR and AI compliance programmes and managing risks relating to personal data protection and cybersecurity. His sector focus spans technology, hospitality, luxury and fashion, banking and finance, life sciences and pharma, consumer goods, energy and industrials, private equity and funds, and sports. 

He is a member of the Paris and New York bars, as well as a registered foreign lawyer admitted to practice in England and Wales. 

Background

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Arts (political science) from New York University, a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Master of Law from the Université de Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne.
