Tim leads the non-contentious construction and engineering practice in Europe and co-leads the practice globally.
Based in London, Tim has over 20 years' experience advising developers, investors and financiers on major projects in the energy, infrastructure, natural resource and real estate sectors in the UK and internationally. Clients benefit directly from Tim's specialist construction and engineering experience and up-to-the minute market knowledge.
Tim provides strategic advice, supports clients with risk analysis and management and drafts and negotiates contracts for a wide variety of construction procurement arrangements. His experience includes traditional, design and construct, turnkey, management, disaggregated/unbundled, early supplier/contractor involvement and collaborative contracting arrangements, concession structures and lump sum, remeasurement, target cost, cost reimbursement and incentivised pricing models.
He advises on standard form contracts (such as JCT, NEC, FIDIC, LOGIC, IChemE and the Model Form suite) as well as bespoke arrangements. He also supports clients on contracts for operation and maintenance, spares and repairs and other longer term services.

Background
Tim was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2002 and holds a BA in Jurisprudence (honours status) from Oxford University (Oriel College).
