- The FCA and PRA are consulting until 7 December on proposed changes to the way relevant firms seek and provide references for candidates of certain roles, including to require references to be given going back six years and for references to be updated by referees where, within six years of the reference, they become aware of matters that would have caused them to draft the original reference differently. The consultation is available here and final rules are due to be in place by 7 March 2016.
- HM Treasury has published a policy stating its intention to extend the senior managers and certification regime to all persons authorised under the Financial Services and Marketing Act 2000 during 2018.
