María is a senior associate in the employment, pensions and incentives practice in the Madrid office.
She advises major companies on all types of national and international employment related matters including negotiation with trade unions, employment restructuring processes, unions elections, staff management policies, senior management contracts and remuneration packages, incentive schemes, whistleblowing and health and safety. She has also wide expertise in defending clients before the labour courts both collective and individual processes. In addition, Maria is highly experienced in working with our clients on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Background
She has a dual degree in Law and Political and Administration Science and a diploma in International relations by Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (ICADE) (Spain), partially studied at l'Institut de Sciences Politiques in Paris (France). She speaks Spanish and English. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association).
